Our final day in Disney: The day of ALL the roller coasters!

Hey again, friends! As I said in my previous post this morning, I am back to share about our final day in Disney!

I am calling this day: The day of ALL the roller coasters!

Our day started at Port Orleans Riverside for some fishing (well, for Michael).

Michael fished for about an hour, but didn’t catch anything. POR offers fishing at the Fishing Hole, where you can rent equipment (fishing poles, bait, etc.) or you can bring your own. Michael actually ended up finding a Walmart and bringing his own fishing stuff (which in our opinion, was better than renting theirs). Regardless of not catching anything, he said he had fun. 🙂

We ate breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe where we were served by Robert, our favorite. 🙂 Afterwards, we took the boat over to Magic Kingdom of course!

Since we had some time to waste before our FastPasses, we rode the People Mover to take a breather and cool off a bit from the HEAT! (It was the hottest day we’ve had since being down there!)img_1007

We went on Space Mountain and I screamed so loud I thought I would loose my voice. Haha! Space Mountain is my favorite ride!!

Then it was time to meet Gaston! But, we had to wait about an hour for him to return. My husband is too good to me to wait with me to meet Gaston! 😉

My, what a guy, that Gaston!! (Singing as I am typing this)

After meeting Gaston, it was time for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! This was our first time riding, because this was the first time ever I was able to get us a FastPass! (LOL at my face on the ride….)

After that, it was mid afternoon and I was hot, dehydrated, and needed WATER and FOOD! We took the Monorail over to the Contemporary Resort to grab some food at the Contempo Cafe for a quick meal! (Seriously, I was very grouchy and just needed to eat and drink)

FOOD! I got ALL the things: vegetables, fruit cup, salad, also a banana and an apple. You bet I ate most of it. (Who said you “can’t eat healthy” when at Disney dining at a quick service spot? NOT ME!)

We had so much fun meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. (However, Goofy was super duper sweaty and his costume was soaked, yuck!)

Once dinner was done, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom!! We watched the Happily Ever After fireworks, and waited for our next FastPass for Splash Mountain! (I HATE this ride so much, but Michael has never been on it and I promised him we would go on.)

Whenever I am feeling down or need a good laugh I look at that picture of us on the ride going down that big hill. IT IS HILARIOUS! I can’t even stop laughing as I am typing up this blog post, I kid you not! I absolutely was in full panic mode before going down that big drop…let me tell you, that climb up the hill before the drop is TORTURE guys! You stop and I look around to see EXIT signs, in my head I am planning my escape route but then it goes and there’s no turning back! AHHHHH!!!! Michael loved it, of course. img_1143

After Splash Mountain, I was cranky and tired. So it was time for us to go back to the room and call it a night! It was such an amazing day, I didn’t want it to be over!

The next morning we headed out, went back to the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast, and was served by Robert of course, before heading to the airport. But we kept our pins on and was all smiles up until we got to the airport!

Leaving Disney is always the worst part ever, and I end up crying whenever it comes to an end. 🙁 But, at least I know we will have many more trips to Disney in the future!! 😉
