Thinking Out Loud #26

Good morning and Happy Thursday! We almost made it to the weekend, almost!

I’m linking this post up with Amanda to join in on her Thinking Out Loud party, so get ready for some random thoughts from this week! 😉 Thinking-Out-LoudI’ve been one busy bee this week trying to get everything done to send my final gift to my Secret Pal…I know I’ve mentioned it before, but if you don’t know what I am talking about let me explain it to you! It is a group of my amazing Disbride sisters where we all become Secret Pals to a certain sister! It is so much fun! For this round, we had two dates to send our pals gifts, and while I have been going a little crazy with it and sending her so many packages filled with ALL THE THINGS, I am sad it is coming to an end. I think there may be another round sometime in the summer, so I am very very excited to continue it and get a new pal to spoil!! I am totally a giver…I do like receiving, but I would much rather give than to receive! 😉

I’ve also been running around doing errands trying to grab last minute stuff for our NYC trip, and trying to get some Christmas shopping done in the mix of things! Talk about craziness!! I actually bought both Gio and Enzo’s gifts yesterday, but I know I will probably get more stuff in New York for them!

Speaking of NYC, I still have to buy some outfits for when we are there! Eeeekkk!! Why do I leave everything until the last second?! I am such a procrastinator! I must get this stuff done! It should be easy to pack though, right?! We are only going for three nights and we are only both bringing a carry on luggage. (Yikes, we all know I overpack all the time. Lol!)

I’ve been glued to all the Christmas movies so much that I haven’t even watched ANY of my favorite Bravo shows that are back on! I didn’t like the movie that was on the Hallmark Channel yesterday, so instead I tuned into The Real Housewives of Atlanta…and let me just say, I definitely missed the fabulous Nene..but I did not miss all of that crazy drama!! Jeeeeeze!

I went over my sister’s house after work yesterday for some play time. The boys were overflowing with energy; Gio was throwing all the pillows at my face and Enzo was jumping on top of me. I couldn’t help but laugh my butt off. They are just too cute.

Keeping on the topic of the boos, I brought Gio to school today and we got to play some more this morning. Notice how I haven’t been subbing all week? Well, I told the secretary on Monday morning that I can’t do it this week or next…and I plan to keep it that way for a while. Remember how I had mentioned I had enough on my plate for now? Well yes, that is definitely a true statement.

The car is where Gio and I have some of our best conversations. Most of the timeI have to remind myself that I’m talking to a 4 year old because he just doesn’t seem like it. Today’s topic was Santa. Apparently we were playing a game where Santa was in the sky flying but he couldn’t fly alone, he needed the reindeer for help. So of course, Auntie to the rescue, I had to tell Santa to “stop flying!” He asked me when Santa sleeps, how he goes to every house and gives presents to all of the people, and still makes it in time for Christmas. I didn’t have all the answers, but I tried my best to come up with the best explanation I could think of! He told me he was going to set up a camera to catch Santa in action, I told him that could happen and we could see Santa deliver his presents to his house and he was excited! “But Auntie, what about your house?” This sweet boy is just too sweet for words!

Alrighty, that’s enough for now. I’ll be back tomorrow! I hope you have a fabulous day!! XOXO ♥♥
