My last blog post as a 27 year old

Happy Tuesday friends!! I hope your week started in a great way. Today is my last day as a 27 year old, which means this will be my LAST blog post as a 27 year old! Ah!!

I kicked off my last day as a 27 year old with a 40 minute run on the treadmill. I mixed in some intervals and got lost in Cardi’s new album, pretending I am a bad a**, which clearlyyyy I am not. I was one super sweaty lady after. Oh, and I don’t want to forget to mention the new book I just started this morning that I am really loving, Why I Hate Green Beans! (I was without a new book for like 4 days…not good)

This time last year we were going to New York City so I could meet see my idol, Kelly Ripa on my birthday. I posted all about our time there, but if you need some remembering….

I mean we totally could be related, right? Haha! Kelly is perfect on TV and in real life. You can see my eyes of craziness because I got to go down on the stage area to take this picture with her during commercial break! It was totally a special moment!! That was such a fantastic birthday, I don’t know what could top it besides being in Disney World. HAHA. Just kidding. But really, every year for my birthday when I was a child we would always be in Disney because my birthday just happened to land right smack dab in the middle of April vacation every year. Yes people, I was the luckiest girl in all the world. I swear my brother didn’t understand why it was always my birthday when we were in Disney, but my parent’s were such sweeties and got my brother a balloon too! But to be real here, my parents are the ones that started my Disney obsession. Who brings a sassy little girl to Disney World every year for her birthday?! I mean c’mon, what did they expect? I am totally kidding. (Maybe) I think this year will just be low key, but obviously still a great day.

I would say 27 has been a really good year for me! Looking back on this past year of my life brings a big smile to my face and makes me realized just how blessed I am! I went on a lot of vacations with my husband, spent lots of time with my family, realized substitute teaching in public schools is really not for me, started this blog(!!!!), ran my first 10K race, met a lot of my Disbride sisters in person, strengthened my relationship with God, spent lots and lots of money (of course), and realized that if I really want to live the happy, healthy life I have always strived for, I must focus on being completely happy and content with my life! I have big expectations for turning 28 😉

Before I publish this (short) post, I must wish my favorite cousin (and ‘big sissy’) a HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY!! We are birthday queens this week, and I hope you soak it all up Linz! 😉

Have a fabulous day!! Xoxo ♥♥
